Finally!

I started school last week and I am a SENIOR!!!! I can't believe that it is finally here......
If everything works out,I should be done by the middle of March! I'm soooo exited!!!!!!!

Youth Conference

   Last week I had the wonderful privilege of going to a Youth Conference in Oklahoma City.This was my fourth year going and I had a blast! I took my camera but when I got there,I found that the batteries were dead and I didn't have my charger! It really stinks that I don't have pictures to show you all!
   The Lord really spoke to me about staying focused.As a teenager in today's society,there are many temptations we have to deal with.Of course,it is a personal decision and personal responsibility to do right.It is no one's fault but our own when we mess up and stray from the things of God.My Pastor was preaching this message,but later in the week,another preacher made the comment just in passing that "Not only do we need God,but we need each other to continue".There has to be accountability somewhere,and without good,solid preaching,prayers of other people and encouragement from those who are doing right,we won't be able to continue.
   This week-Friday the 15th to be exact-was the 2nd year anniversary of my Salvation! I'm so happy to know that I'm "on the winning side"!!

 A couple weeks ago,I got the privilege of photographing this wedding! It was the first time I had ever done pictures for anyone so that was kinda nerve wracking.The wedding was a very small,low key wedding.....that took the pressure off a little! :)

New Look!

Well one of my goals this summer was to "find me"....if you know what I mean. :) I have tried several different personalities but none seem to fit me,so I started out on a journey to figure out who I was.
First of all I tried the "rough and tough cowgirl".That did not work! Now,don't get me wrong,I love my square toed Justin's, my denim skirts,big loud trucks and living in ruralness (not a word but that's ok),but I don't have the guts for animal guts and I don't particularly care for getting up early and staying up late to work on a tractor!
The second "personality" I tried was "deep thought thinking and big word using".This lasted less time than the cowgirl one! I wore myself out trying to enlarge my vocabulary and think of the deepest things to say to people! Needless to say,this wouldn't do either.
After that I almost contemplated "city girl,pink and ruffles wearing".....that didn't get past my brain though.I couldn't stand the thought of being such a girly girl that I wouldn't attempt bow hunting,yet at the same time didn't feel that I could field dress my own deer.(If you don't know what that is,just don't ask) :)
So in all this I just named my blog "Hannah's Blog",tried to think of deep things to post,spent too much time trying to capture life on our little farm and not getting anywhere!
I decided to tell you allll about myself and you tell me if I'm crazy! *big giant grin*

• I love music.....LOVE IT! There isn't much that beats playing the piano.
• My favorite colors are black,white and gray but I have a special spot for rubber ducky yellow,burnt orange and cornflower blue.
• I'm not one to go up to people and talk to them like I've known them for years,but I do enjoy meeting people.
• Often times I over analyze things and make them much more complicated than necessary.
• I have a temper.
• I don't like English class.
• I have a thing for word puzzles...and sudoku!! Oh yeah!

• I would rather sit inside and read a good book then go outside and do....something?
• I think too much about dumb things such as "Why did they decide 5280 ft would be a mile,instead of making it an even 5000?"

Now,you may think I've lost it but I promise I haven't!! I decided that if I had to use one word to describe me it would be "me". I have been saved by the precious blood of Jesus,therefore I have real joy!! Not just happiness,but joy! And I daydream quite often about college,marriage,being used of God in a great way.....etc. So this is why I decided on this title for my blog! I thought it fit me very well.Now, I will enjoy blogging so much more because I don't have to try to keep up "rough and tough cowgirl","deep thought thinking and big word using"or try to be "city girl,pink and ruffles wearing".I'm willing to stand out in a crowd and be different! God gives us each our own uniqueness and I intend to use mine!

Precious New Baby

Two days ago my dear Aunt had her baby!! His name is Sumner Francis and he weighed 8 lbs,6 0z! I don't have any pictures of him because they are not home yet.I am so exited about him finally being here! I've already been dubbed "Nanny Hanney" :) Have a great day!!

I'm trying to load pictures of the trip and other things but the computer isn't taking them for some reason! I will have my dad look at it tonight and maybe he can get it to work.I hope so,because I really want to blog!

Silver Dollar City

This afternoon we are leaving to go to Silver Dollar City! I am so exited,yet nervous at the same time because I have never ridden a roller coaster before! (Yes,some people would say I'm deprived.) I don't really want to ride but mom and dad want me to try at least one....soooo we will see how it goes! There will be lots of shopping and chocolate eating and walking and chocolate eating and swimming and chocolate eating! (I love chocolate if you couldn't tell).I will have my camera and dad's laptop so hopefully I can blog some pictures while I'm there. :) Have a great day!

Random Post!

Ok,I don't know why the picture in the previous post doesn't show up....I can't figure it out! I'm very sorry though.I will continue to try.Anyways,let's see.....I'm not on my computer at home so I don't have any pictures.(Errr!) I will give you an update on mom and baby!
So my youngest sister is 11.Needless to say,we thought there wouldn't be any more little Bryants! WRONG! God decided that we needed to see His humorous side so He is blessing us with another baby!!! I have only one brother and two sisters so I do hope it is a boy.Although,I will be happy if it is a girl too! (I can dress her in zebra clothes!) My mom is due October the 23rd.....just 4 days before my dad's birthday.She is really tired but baby looks and sounds good! I will give you the names and we'll see what you all think! Leave me a comment!(Even if you don't like them!) :) :) :)

Hello! :)

Sadly,my thumb drive is at my dad's office right now so I can't post any pictures but thought I would give a quick update! 
1-Turkey season is in full swing....meaning,my brother is not to be found! :) Nick,dad and Macy are all out there somewhere at this time.This also means early mornings,camo clothes everywhere and listening to turkey calls! Oh what a wonderful thing! (Heehee)
2-We have only one week of school left!!!!! I'm soooo exited to be a Senior! My younger brother is graduating with me and he isn't quite as exited.He's a guy..... :)
3-Revival starts at our church tomorrow.We are doing a Revelation Revival so we will be working through the book of Revelation in just one week! It's going to be good but very deep!
4-Tomorrow my dear friend Geneva is supposed to come visit! YAY! She was in the college at our church last year and she is dating a guy from our church.Soooo,while she is no longer coming to college,she still visits her special someone every couple of months.(For which I'm very grateful for!!)
   And this next one is the best out of all these other things I've shared!!!
5- My mom is going to have a BABY!!! Yes, a baby!! It was so very unexpected as the youngest in our family is already 11!!! There are alot of details but I can't share them right now because I have to go get stuff done.But I'm soooo exited!!!! I really hope it's a boy! :) :) :)

So it's been...well....a long time since I posted! Honestly,the thought of blogging doesn't cross my mind very often and when it does I'm usually doing something else or just don't feel motivated! I know.Lame excuse.Anyway....I won't even try to give a full update,as our calendar has been so full of things, I wouldn't really know where to start! :)
We have had sooo much snow this winter which,if you like the snow,is great! But for those of us who don't really care for it,it's beginning to get a little annoying.Oh well. Spring and summer will be even more fun because of such the long winter!
I will end this post with the announcement that this blog is no longer "our blog" but just mine as it will be easier to post anything I would like as opposed to asking my siblings what I can and can't post.(This is one reason it's so difficult at times! :)) I will be able to post thoughts from my personal devotions as well as thoughts from Preaching.They haven't shown the interest in this blog that I thought they would so here we go.......Hannah's Blog!
